Overview

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine! In this vital role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen, preparing fresh ingredients, assisting with meal assembly, and ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and safety. Your energy and culinary skills will contribute directly to delivering memorable dining experiences for our guests. We believe in fostering a lively, team-oriented environment where your talents can grow and thrive.

Duties

Prepare ingredients and assist with meal assembly according to established recipes and menu specifications
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, slicers, and food processors
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen by cleaning workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly
Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure proper handling, storage, and temperature control of all ingredients
Support menu planning by preparing ingredients in advance for upcoming service periods
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and ensure timely delivery of orders
Assist with food presentation and garnishing to enhance visual appeal of dishes

Experience

Previous experience in a food service environment, such as a restaurant or catering setting, is highly desirable
Familiarity with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus
Demonstrated knowledge of food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments
Skilled in knife handling, slicing techniques, and general food preparation methods
Experience operating various kitchen equipment safely and effectively
Strong understanding of recipe adherence and meal preparation processes
Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within a fast-paced kitchen setting
