Full Job Description

We are seeking a warm, organized, and reliable Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the face of Lim Chiropractic & Rehab Center. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients—welcoming them, managing the appointment schedule, handling front-office administration, and ensuring a seamless, positive experience from arrival to checkout. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Experience & Customer Service

Greet patients warmly upon arrival and check them in efficiently.
Answer incoming phone calls, respond to emails, and address patient inquiries in a friendly, professional manner.
Create a comfortable, clean, and inviting waiting area environment.

Scheduling & Office Administration

Manage patient scheduling, appointment reminders, and follow-up visits using our practice management software.
Handle appointment cancellations and work to fill schedule gaps proactively.
Maintain patient records, ensuring all intake forms, consent documents, and health histories are completed accurately and kept confidential (HIPAA compliant).

Billing & Payment Collection

Collect copays, coinsurance, and self-pay fees at the time of service.
Issue receipts, track patient balances, and assist with daily payment reconciliation.
Verify insurance coverage and benefits for new and existing patients (or coordinate with our billing team).

Clinic Support

Assist chiropractors with room turnaround, maintaining supply inventory, and keeping treatment rooms clean and stocked.
Manage incoming mail, medical record requests, and outgoing correspondence.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate’s degree or administrative certification is a plus).
Experience: 1–2 years of front desk, receptionist, or customer service experience (medical, chiropractic, or wellness office experience strongly preferred).
Computer Skills: Proficiency with basic office software (MS Office/Google Workspace) and comfort learning EHR/chiropractic software (e.g., ChiroTouch, Jane, or similar).
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong active listening.
Organization: Excellent multi-tasking skills with high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Attributes

Strong empathy and passion for holistic healthcare and patient wellness.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical office workflows.
Ability to handle sensitive situations or anxious patients with composure and care.

Benefits & Compensation

Pay Range: $22–$26 / hour, depending on experience.
