About the Role:
You must be able but not limited to:

Initially work under supervision
Do client questionnaires for forms.
Collect Client evidence as needed.
Review forms with clients
Review declarations with clients
Call clients to collect more evidence.
Review of packet prepared by admins/assistants so that they can make can final changes
Legal research
Draft legal documents including but not limited to briefs, pleas, appeals and motions.
E-file and print documents as needed
Other job duties as assigned

WHO YOU ARE:

Bilingual – Speak, read and write in Amharic, Tigrinya, or Somali - This is required.
An excellent verbal and written communicator
Organized and detail oriented
Strongly analytical with excellent problem-solving skills.
Knows how to prioritize tasks and delegate them when necessary
A person who acts with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Can motivate and work with a team
Proficient with Microsoft Office and related software
- Flexible to work both remotely and in-office

Pay rate is DOE; 2+ years experience as an immigration paralegal highly desired.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
