Hampton Inn & Suites is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Manager to drive group, corporate, and local business while delivering exceptional service to our clients.

This role is ideal for a hospitality sales professional who embraces the art of prospecting, enjoys developing long-term partnerships, and has a passion for growing market share in a competitive environment.

Position Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenue through proactive sales efforts, including prospecting, developing, negotiating, and closing new business opportunities. The successful candidate will focus on identifying and securing group and corporate business while maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts to maximize hotel revenue and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Solicit, negotiate, and secure group and corporate business that meets or exceeds revenue goals.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow market share and increase hotel occupancy.
Prospect new business through phone calls, client visits, networking, and outside sales activities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, organizations, and key decision-makers.
Manage existing accounts to maximize revenue opportunities and drive repeat business.
Prepare and present customized proposals, contracts, and sales presentations.
Conduct hotel tours and site inspections for prospective clients.
Accurately document sales activities, account information, and opportunities within the hotel's sales systems.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to identify new business opportunities.
Collaborate with hotel operations teams to ensure seamless execution of group and corporate business.
Consistently achieve or exceed established sales goals and performance expectations.

Qualifications

Minimum of three years of hotel sales experience, preferably in a branded hotel environment.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
Strong prospecting and business development skills with a "hunter" mentality.
Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Experience with Hilton systems: PEP, Delphi, or similar hotel sales platforms is preferred.
