About GoKo
GoKo is a growing beverage brand creating naturally energizing drinks for people who want to stay active, connected and ready for whatever comes next.
We are looking for a creative, entrepreneurial Social Media & Content Coordinator to help bring the GoKo brand to life across social media. This role is ideal for someone who is equally comfortable planning a content calendar, writing an Instagram caption, filming a product video and capturing live content at an event.
You will work closely with the GoKo team to develop and execute content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other digital channels. Because we are a growing brand, you should be comfortable taking ownership, experimenting with ideas and producing strong work with minimal visual direction.
What You’ll DoContent Creation and Production
- Plan, shoot and edit short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and other social platforms.
- Produce a mix of low-fi, platform-native content and polished, high-quality brand content.
- Organize and execute product, lifestyle, founder-led and campaign shoots.
- Capture photo and video coverage at brand activations, retail events, community partnerships and sponsored events.
- Film content in retail stores and at locations throughout the Seattle area.
- Work independently from creative briefs, brand guidelines or high-level direction.
- Edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro or another advanced video-editing platform.
- Repurpose existing footage into multiple formats, hooks and platform-specific variations.
- Maintain an organized library of raw footage, edited content and other creative assets.
Social Media and Copywriting
- Help manage GoKo’s social media content calendar and publishing workflow.
- Write engaging, on-brand captions, video scripts, hooks, calls to action and campaign copy.
- Track emerging content formats, social trends, audio, memes and cultural conversations.
- Translate relevant trends into ideas that feel authentic and distinctive to GoKo.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice across social media channels.
- Support community engagement by responding to comments and identifying opportunities to build relationships with GoKo’s audience.
Testing and Performance
- Develop creative variations to test hooks, formats, captions, thumbnails, calls to action and video lengths.
- Conduct A/B tests and use performance data to improve future content.
- Track metrics such as reach, engagement, watch time, completion rate, saves, shares, clicks and conversions.
- Identify patterns in high-performing content and turn those learnings into actionable creative recommendations.
- Contribute ideas for improving GoKo’s social media strategy, content systems and audience growth.
Creator, Influencer and Affiliate Support
- Help identify creators, influencers, athletes and community partners who align with the GoKo brand.
- Support creator outreach, product seeding, affiliate initiatives and campaign coordination.
- Maintain organized records of outreach, deliverables, usage rights and performance.
- Help build long-term relationships with creators and community partners.
- Stay informed about developments in influencer, affiliate and creator marketing.
Who You Are
- You have 1–2 years of experience in social media, content marketing or content production, preferably with a direct-to-consumer brand.
- You are based in or near Seattle, Washington, and are available to attend shoots, events and activations in person.
- You have reliable transportation or another dependable way to travel independently between shoot, retail and event locations throughout the Seattle area.
- You are comfortable creating both low-fi smartphone content and polished, high-quality photo and video assets.
- You have experience with product photography, product videography and event coverage.
- You have working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or another advanced video-editing tool.
- You are a strong writer who can produce concise, engaging and platform-appropriate copy.
- You understand the differences between content created for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.
- You can take a broad idea and turn it into a finished piece of content without requiring detailed, step-by-step visual direction.
- You are entrepreneurial, resourceful and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
- You are a self-starter who takes initiative, solves problems independently and follows projects through to completion.
- You are curious about audience behavior and use performance data to improve your creative decisions.
- You have an interest in influencer marketing, affiliate programs, creator partnerships and community building.
- You are organized and able to manage shoots, assets, deadlines and multiple content projects at once.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with a beverage, food, wellness, fitness or lifestyle brand.
- Experience creating content for an active or outdoor-oriented audience.
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Lightroom or similar creative tools.
- Experience using social scheduling, analytics or project-management platforms.
- Basic knowledge of paid social creative and performance marketing.
- An existing network within Seattle’s creator, fitness, sports or events community.
- Experience supporting influencer, affiliate or creator campaigns.
- Comfort appearing on camera when needed.
