Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Executive Lead Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This pivotal role combines leadership, culinary expertise, and operational management to deliver exceptional dining experiences. As a key player in our kitchen, you will oversee food preparation, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained. Your passion for fine dining, team management skills, and culinary innovation will drive the success of our food service operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to lead with creativity and professionalism in a vibrant hospitality environment.

Duties

Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including line cooks and culinary team members, fostering a positive and efficient work environment
Oversee food production processes, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations
Manage inventory control and food handling procedures to minimize waste and optimize resources
Plan menus in collaboration with executive management, incorporating dietary requirements and seasonal ingredients
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and health codes across all kitchen operations
Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with precision and attention to detail
Supervise shift management duties, including scheduling, training new team members, and ensuring smooth daily operations

Skills

Extensive culinary experience with a focus on fine dining environments
Proven supervising and team management skills in fast-paced kitchens
Strong background in food service management, including inventory management and control
Experience in banquet service, catering, and large-scale event preparation
Knowledge of dietary restrictions and food production for diverse customer needs
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop staff effectively
Expertise in kitchen management practices such as food safety protocols, inventory control, and food handling
Excellent cooking skills across various cuisines with a focus on presentation and quality assurance
Familiarity with restaurant experience including menu planning, shift management, and hospitality standards
Ability to oversee food service operations from preparation through delivery while maintaining high standards of excellence
