Full Job Description

Overview
Heuberger Motors is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to support our dealership sales team and daily sales operations. This role is responsible for helping coach sales consultants, assist with customer transactions, monitor performance, and support dealership goals for vehicle sales, gross profit, customer satisfaction, and team productivity. We are looking for someone who is professional, organized, customer-focused, and comfortable leading employees in a fast-paced automotive sales environment.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, train, and support sales consultants and other assigned sales employees.
Assist with hiring, onboarding, performance management, and staffing recommendations.
Direct daily sales activities to support dealership goals for vehicle sales, gross profit, customer satisfaction, and overall productivity.
Monitor salesperson performance, follow-up activity, customer communication, closing percentages, and sales results.
Assist sales consultants with customer negotiations, pricing questions, trade-in discussions, deal structure, and customer concerns.
Work with the finance department to support accurate deal flow, timely paperwork, and a smooth customer transition from sales to finance.
Maintain knowledge of new and used vehicle inventory, manufacturer incentives, factory programs, financing options, dealership policies, and current market conditions.
Assist with displaying, merchandising, and promoting new and used vehicle inventory.
Review sales reports, inventory information, customer demand, and performance trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
Communicate and support dealership promotions, factory-sponsored programs, and sales campaigns.
Ensure sales employees follow dealership policies, sales processes, manufacturer guidelines, customer privacy standards, and applicable requirements.
Work closely with other departments, including finance, service, parts, accounting, internet sales, and dealership management.
Handle customer concerns and escalated sales issues in a professional and timely manner.
Help maintain an organized, professional, and customer-focused sales environment.
Provide regular updates to management regarding sales activity, employee performance, inventory concerns, and department needs.
Attend manager meetings, sales meetings, training sessions, and other dealership meetings as requested.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience

Previous experience in automotive sales, finance, or dealership management preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of management experience required.
Minimum of 3 years of automotive dealership management experience preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of sales or finance experience preferred.
Proven ability to lead, coach, train, and hold sales employees accountable.
Strong understanding of dealership sales processes, customer negotiations, vehicle pricing, trade-ins, deal structure, and sales follow-up.
Ability to support dealership goals for vehicle sales, gross profit, customer satisfaction, and overall department performance.
Experience reviewing sales reports, salesperson performance, inventory information, customer activity, and market trends.
Strong communication, negotiation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with sales managers, finance managers, service employees, accounting, internet sales, vendors, and dealership leadership.
Experience using dealership CRM systems and other sales-related technology preferred.
Ability to handle customer concerns, escalations, and non-routine sales issues professionally.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of customer, employee, and dealership information.
Bilingual or multilingual skills are helpful but not required.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.

Pay: $2,628.00 - $12,000.00 per month
