Full Job Description

Position Summary: The Controller will plan and direct the accounting operations of the company. Reconcile and audit weekly/monthly the finance and accounting department roles, AP/AR primarily, and provide NetSuite training and information, primarily financial in nature, involving all financial company activities that will assist the CEO, COO, and other users in making educated economic decisions about the company's future.

Reconcile the activities of the corporate accounting department's AP/AR (Minimal Payroll) for the
accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports, including but not limited to
internal and external monthly financial statements, annual audits, and annual budgets
Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implements a system of
controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk
Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with
generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards
Recommends benchmarks that will be used to measure the company’s performance
Produces the annual budget and forecasts; reports significant budget differences to management
Provides financial analysis, with emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract
negotiations
Works with external auditors and provides needed information for the annual audit
Files quarterly and annual reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission
Establish and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes, and
data, and enhance the company's value
Respond to the CEO as assigned, providing accurate, timely work to meet his financial needs.
Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements
Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned

The Controller will lead and manage the company's accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. Key responsibilities include weekly and monthly reconciliation and auditing of finance and accounting functions, with a primary focus on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

This role is crucial for providing financial insights and NetSuite training to assist senior leadership (CEO, COO) and other stakeholders in making informed economic decisions about the company's strategic direction.
