Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Executive Chef/Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee all kitchen operations. This pivotal role combines creative menu planning, team leadership, and operational excellence to deliver exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for culinary arts, extensive restaurant and food service management experience, and a strong background in food safety and sanitation. As a key leader, you will inspire your team to achieve culinary excellence while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape our culinary offerings and elevate our hospitality standards.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise all kitchen staff, including cooks, chefs, and support personnel, fostering a positive team environment focused on collaboration and excellence
Develop innovative menus that align with brand standards, customer preferences, and dietary requirements while ensuring profitability
Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control to deliver consistently exceptional dishes in both fine dining and catering settings
Manage inventory control, food ordering, and cost management to optimize food production efficiency and minimize waste
Enforce strict food safety protocols, sanitizing procedures, and hygiene standards across the kitchen to ensure compliance with health regulations
Coordinate shift schedules, monitor labor costs, and oversee daily kitchen operations to maintain smooth workflow during busy service times
Oversee banquet and catering operations, ensuring seamless execution of large-scale events with attention to detail and customer satisfaction

Experience

Proven supervisory experience in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment with a focus on food service management
Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining cuisine, catering, and banquet services
Demonstrated expertise in menu planning, food production, and kitchen management including inventory control and cost control strategies
Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures, dietary department standards, and food handling regulations
Experience managing teams as a chef or kitchen manager with leadership skills that motivate staff toward excellence
Background in managing restaurant operations or hospitality services with a focus on serving diverse customer needs
Knowledge of food industry trends such as catering innovations, culinary techniques, and hospitality best practices
