Full Job Description

Job Title: Account Executive
Company: Victory Truck Body, Inc
Location: Glassboro, NJ

Work Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM *Full-time, in-person, on-site position*

Reports To: Vice President of Sales

Position Overview: The Account Executive is responsible for identifying potential customers, developing new relationships, maintaining existing relationships, and closing sales. The ideal candidate will have excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to think strategically and creatively. Success will be measured through revenue growth resulting from excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills.

This is a full-time on-site office position located in Glassboro, NJ.

Compensation: We offer a competitive total compensation package and are fully committed to helping every employee attain their professional and personal goals. The starting annual salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000,with a competitive uncapped commission plan added after 1 year of employment.The annual salary is negotiable and will be based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, in-person visits, networking, and referrals.
Identify, upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts by building and maintaining relationships with existing clients, and understanding their needs to ensure customer satisfaction.
Prepare accurate quotes and proposals with urgency and attention to detail.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns, conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth.
Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and production, to ensure alignment between customer requirements and product offerings.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent Victory Truck Body and network with potential clients.
Close deals consistently and meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue targets

Qualifications:

At least 1 year of B2B inside sales experience. Truck equipment, commercial vehicles, construction, or related B2B industry preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. (Preferred, but not required)
Tech Savvy: Must have strong computer skills. (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Salesforce)
Communication Skills: Must have excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
Work Ethic: Can handle high volume of activity coming at you from phone calls and emails. Be customer service focused and solution-oriented.
Trainable and Coachable: Enjoys being challenged and is assertive by nature. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Organized: Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multi-task.
Self-Directed: Be a critical thinker and out-of-the-box problem solver who can resourcefully overcome obstacles and barriers.
Disciplined: Be a results-driven self-starter with a competitive mindset who can overcome difficult objections.
Must have a mechanical aptitude with an innovative mindset.
