Skills Instructor

Todd Steven & Associates Inc. is looking for Part-Time Skills Instructors in Sheboygan, Manitowoc and surrounding areas providing positive support to individuals with varying abilities in a vocational setting. Position will be 10-15 hours per week to start and will increase as new services are added.

We collaborate with area employers to achieve a customized and meaningful employment sites for individuals within their own community. Our goal is to make the employer/employee relationship a win-win situation, and to ensure that both are satisfied with the employment relationship.

Position Summary:

As a Skills Instructor you will be responsible for:

Assisting newly hired, qualified employees with additional on the job support to ensure that the employment match meets the needs of both the employee and employer.
Work with numerous consumers in a variety of work environments throughout Sheboygan and the surrounding areas.
Utilizing a variety of positive training methods to successfully train and support consumers in a variety of settings.
Observe and document consumer performance and behavior for required reports.
Complete Skills Instruction reports and submit them within 48 hours of Instruction to Employment Consultant.
Communicate with Employment Consultant to ensure instruction support meets the specific needs of each consumer and to discuss any urgent concerns, changes in job duties or employer/consumer feedback that requires immediate attention.

Qualifications:

Education: High school or equivalent (Required).
Commitment to the inclusion of persons with disabilities.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Available and reliable transportation with proof of insurance.
Applicants must be able to pass a background check.

Additional Information:

Job Type: Part-time with flexible schedule (10-15 hours per week to start)
