Seasonal Line Cook & Kitchen Staff (Line Cook, Prep Cook, Dishwasher)

Siebkens Resort | Elkhart Lake, WI
Pay: $15–$23/hour
Schedule: 24–40 hours/week | Seasonal (Now–October 31)
Positions Available: Line Cook (1), Prep Cooks, Dishwashers

Siebkens Resort is seeking reliable, hardworking Kitchen Staff to join our culinary team. We are hiring a Line Cook, Prep Cooks, and Dishwashers to support our kitchen operations under the direction of our Executive Chef and kitchen leadership team.

This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, take pride in their work, and are committed to delivering high-quality food with consistency and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and stock workstations with necessary ingredients and equipment
Prepare ingredients for service (chopping, peeling, portioning, etc.)
Cook menu items using a variety of techniques (grilling, sautéing, baking, boiling)
Plate and present dishes according to standards
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment
Ensure all food and supplies are properly stored and labeled
Verify ingredient quality prior to preparation and service
Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to kitchen leadership
Support team members across kitchen functions as needed

Qualifications

Prior experience in a commercial kitchen preferred (Line Cook candidates should have strong cooking experience)
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to multitask and follow directions
Dependable, team-oriented, and positive attitude
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Additional Details

45-day performance reviews with potential for pay increase and/or position advancement
Seasonal position (Now through October 31)

Employee Housing (Optional)

Limited dorm-style housing may be available for seasonal staff (18+):

Double occupancy rooms
Located near the resort in Elkhart Lake
Cost: $40/week per employee
Availability varies by position and season
