Community Manager – Affordable Housing

Manitowoc, WI

Are you an experienced affordable housing professional looking for an opportunity where your leadership truly makes an impact?

We're seeking a Community Manager to oversee a well-established affordable housing community in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable organization that values its employees, supports professional development, and provides the resources you need to succeed.

What You'll Do

Oversee the daily operations of an established affordable housing community.
Manage occupancy, leasing, budgeting, and overall property performance.
Ensure compliance with LIHTC, Project-Based Section 8, and Fair Housing regulations.
Lead, coach, and support the onsite team while fostering a positive work environment.
Partner with maintenance to ensure the community remains safe, attractive, and well maintained.
Build strong relationships with residents, vendors, and ownership while delivering exceptional customer service.

What We're Looking For

Two or more years of property management experience - REQUIRED
Experience managing LIHTC and/or Project-Based Section 8 communities.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office.
Affordable housing certifications are preferred but not required.
