Sous Chef – High Volume Spanish Restaurant

Location: 1190 Roseville Pkwy, Roseville, CA 95678, Estados Unidos
Job Type: Full-Time

Be part of Teleferic Barcelona Palo Alto! We are an authentic Spanish restaurant seeking an experienced, hands-on Sous Chef to join our leadership team. This role is ideal for a Sous Chef who enjoys being on the line, leading by example, and training kitchen teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist the Executive Chef with daily kitchen operations
Actively work on the line cooking during service as needed
Lead, supervise, and motivate a high-volume kitchen team
Train, coach, and mentor cooks and kitchen staff
Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
Support prep, service, and execution during busy shifts
Help maintain organization, cleanliness, and efficiency in the kitchen

Requirements

Previous 4 years of experience as a Sous Chef (required)
Experience in high-volume restaurants or busy kitchens (required)
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Passion for training and developing kitchen staff
Hands-on, operational mindset — comfortable cooking on the line
Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented
