Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Press Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and maintain various press machines to produce high-quality ceramic components efficiently and safely. Your expertise in machining, fabrication, and quality control will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of excellence. Responsibilities

Set up and operate press machines, including hydraulic and mechanical presses, ensuring proper tooling and calibration for each job
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to produce precise components
Perform routine maintenance on press equipment to maximize uptime and safety
Conduct quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment for part assembly and adjustments
Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and reduce waste
Maintain accurate production records, shift logs, and quality documentation

Key Responsibilities

Operate hydraulic and mechanical presses for ceramic production.
Handle raw materials and finished goods using forklifts and electric power jacks.
Load/unload parts, inspect finished components, and follow production specifications.
Maintain work area cleanliness and follow safety procedures.
Assist with press changeovers and report any mechanical issues to supervision.
Perform basic quality checks and record results accurately.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or press operation role.
Proficiency in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, calculation of percentages).
Proficiency in material handling, including forklift and electric pallet jack operation.
Ability to lift 55–60 lbs. regularly and perform physical tasks.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to work in dusty conditions with seasonal temperature.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Driver License Required
Safety-conscious and dependable work ethic.
