Full Job Description

DASCO Engineering Corporation,founded in 1963, is a leading supplier of machined components for the aerospace industry. We specialize in machining and assembling complex, critical aerospace structures, including heavy machining of titanium and other hard metals. Using advanced manufacturing technologies and precision processes, we deliver high-quality components for some of the industry's most demanding applications.

We are currently seeking skilled and motivated CNC Machinists to join our growing team. Openings are available on both Day Shift and Night Shift, and we are also exploring alternative schedules, including compressed workweeks and weekend shifts, for qualified candidates who are interested in greater flexibility.

Job Responsibilities:

Set up and operate 3, 4, and 5-Axis CNC machines, including large gantry equipment.
Read and interpret manufacturing plans, engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements.
Machine, finish, and inspect precision aerospace components.
Remove defects and smooth surfaces as required by specifications.
Use precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, height gages, and related inspection tools.
Maintain compliance with quality, safety, and production requirements.
Work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum one (1) year experience operating CNC machinery, or enrollment/completion of a formal machinist training program.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manufacturing plans, and work instructions.
Ability to use precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, and height gages.
Fluent English communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Background/Education:

Three (3) or more years of experience operating 3, 4, or 5-Axis CNC machines.
Experience performing machine setups and maintaining dimensional compliance throughout production runs.
Experience with Fanuc-style or Acramatic 950 controls.
Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience machining titanium or other hard metals.
High School Diploma or equivalent.

Physical Demands:

To successfully perform the essential functions of this position, employees must be able to:

Safely lift up to 50 pounds.
Stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
Frequently bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull, and stretch.
Work safely around manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment.
