Full Job Description

Job Overview

Full time licensed psychotherapist in a welcoming practice in Columbia, Md. Offers competitive pay package including benefits and very flexible hours
Duties

Do thorough evaluations using ICD-10 codes for diagnosis
Maintain detailed and compliant medical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations while ensuring accuracy in medical records and clinical research data collection.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, case managers, medical professionals, and educators to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
familiarity with EHR platforms

Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to expand access to mental health services while adhering to confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

Master's degree or higher in psychology, social work, counseling psychology, or related clinical field from an accredited institution.
Valid licensure or certification as a licensed professional counselor (LPC), licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), psychologist, or equivalent credentialing recognized within the region of practice.
Demonstrated experience in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, addiction counseling, grief counseling.
Experience working with diverse populations
Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health and experience documenting clinical notes following HIPAA guidelines.
Strong skills in patient assessment, group therapy facilitation, and clinical research methodologies.
