Full Job Description

Are you energetic, compassionate, and committed to lifelong learning? Join our growing team at Excentia Human Services as a Behavior Specialist Consultant and help provide trauma-informed, behavioral health support to children and families.

What You’ll Do:

Conduct assessments to identify behavioral concerns and underlying triggers.
Develop individualized behavior plans with strategies to address the challenges identified in the assessments. Update the treatment plans, as required by IBHS guidelines.
Provide services to the child and parent/caregiver.
Collaborate with parents, school personnel, caregivers and staff to provide training and guidance on implementing behavior interventions.
Collect data, analyze data and monitor progress of the child/adolescent.
Ensure data collection is collected accurately.
Track progress of the child/adolescent, making necessary adjustments to strategies, and reinforcing positive behaviors.
Equip both the child/adolescent and their support system with effective strategies to manage behaviors and promote long-term success in daily functioning.
Responsible for ensuring that interventions are applied with consistency and fidelity, as well as monitor outcome information.

What We’re Looking For:

A compassionate, energetic, and open-minded team leader
Availability to work in homes, schools, and community settings
Master's degree in Psychology, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or other related fields of study and a minimum of 1 year full-time experience providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults. Licensure preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Must have reliable transportation.
