OUR OPENING

Journey Group is seeking a proactive and analytical Business Solutions Analyst to join our Technology team in Sioux Falls, SD. This role serves as a bridge between business operations and technology, helping identify opportunities for process improvements, system enhancements, reporting solutions, and operational efficiencies across the organization.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS AN BUSINESS SOLUTIONS ANALYST?

Partner with stakeholders to identify business needs and improvement opportunities.
Analyze processes and workflows to increase efficiency, standardization, and user experience.
Support the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise business systems.
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and key performance metrics.
Assist with system testing, upgrades, integrations, and user acceptance testing.
Create and maintain process documentation, workflows, and training materials.
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
Support project planning, training, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED

Associate degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
1+ years of experience in business analysis, business applications, process improvement, or related IT/business roles.
Project management experience preferred.
Experience supporting enterprise business systems, reporting tools, or operational improvement initiatives preferred.
Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES NEEDED

Understanding of business operations, workflows, and process improvement principles.
Ability to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and recommend practical solutions.
Experience creating reports, dashboards, and business insights using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
Strong organizational, documentation, and project coordination skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization.
Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
Self-motivated team player who can work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS

A majority of work takes place in an indoor office setting equipped with a computer, desk, phone, and other typical office equipment.
Must be able to inspect details at close range, interact, communicate, and exchange accurate information consistently.
Must be able to retain a stationary position for extended periods of time.
Travel to other locations is occasionally required for meetings and trainings.
