Fire Alarm Technician – Sioux Falls, SD

About Us

Job Title:

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, repair, and test fire alarm system components

(e.g., panels, audible/visual alarms, pull stations, detectors).

Analyze blueprints, schematics, and drawings for efficient system installations.
Coordinate with Project Managers and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
Diagnoses and troubleshoots electrical problems in systems.
Inform personnel about procedures and work order status.
Inspect fire alarm systems, recommend preventive maintenance, and identify necessary

repairs.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

1-2 years of experience in electronics and basic electric circuit

troubleshooting (working knowledge of Ohm's law).

Proficient in using an electronic multi-meter

for open circuits, short circuits, and ground fault troubleshooting.

Strong electronics and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Capable of climbing ladders and carrying a 50+ pound backpack unassisted.
Must pass a background check.
Valid driver's license in good standing.
Must be legally authorized for employment in the United States
NICET Certification.
FASA BASA Certification.
2-5 years of experience as a technician supporting fire solutions projects.
Field experience in a solutions or construction-based business.
