Full Job Description

Experienced Medical Billing Specialist

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Medical Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing, with the skills necessary to improve our current billing procedures and reduce A/R days as well as demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities include:

Prepare and submit billing data and medical claims to insurance companies.
Work claims and claim denials to ensure maximum reimbursement for services provided.
Ensure the patient’s medical information is accurate and up to date.
Prepare bills and invoices, and document amounts due for medical procedures and services.
Implement, maintain and report on programs initiated by the practice.
Help patients develop patient payment plans.

Requirements:

Must have minimum 1yr experience as a Medical Billing Specialist or similar position.
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, within a team centered environment and multitask.
Experience with electronic medical records a must, eClinicalWorks is a plus.
