Full Job Description

Metal Motion is a full service machining facility that is Boeing direct and supports aftermarket aerospace/firearm customers. Our capabilities range from sheet metal, forming, cnc multi axis lathe, and 3-4 axis milling (vertical and horizontal). We range from prototype to production in a job shop atmosphere. We are an equal employment opportunity employer.

We are currently looking for a skilled setup machinist that has a good attitude and a team player that fits well with our team. Unlike most Aerospace shops we are still full time on a fours days a week, 10 hour shift schedule Monday through Thursday with Fridays for utilized for overtime as needed.

Responsibilities:
* Read blue prints, work orders, setup sheets and engineering drawings to accurately setup CNC mills.
* Ability to edit G and M code programs and adjust as necessary to produce conforming product.
* Use micrometers, calipers, bore gages, height gages and other inspection equipment to monitor product
performance during manufacturing runs.
* Ability to read and write in English fluently.
* Able to use basic math, geometry and trigonometry.
* Adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
* Operate 3 and 4 axis mills including horizontal cell.
* Maintains specifications by taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshoot minor program errors, adjust tool compensations after first part inspection.
* Maintain safe operations.
* TEAM PLAYER WITH A GOOD ATTITUDE.
* Maintain fluids and other items on the machines and replace/refill as needed.
* Run multiple machines.

Physical demands:
* Required to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
* Moderate walking, standing, lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Work around moving object,
and with machinery with moving parts in a loud production environment.

Skills and Education:
* Minimum 3 years as a true mill setup machinist
* High school diploma or GED
* Able to work well with others or unsupervised
* Sheet metal experience a plus.
