Community Health Alliance is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Administrative Specialist to join our behavioral health team. As the first point of contact for many of our clients, you will play an essential role in creating a welcoming experience while supporting the daily operations of our outpatient and community-based programs.

What You'll Do

As an Administrative Specialist, you will:

Welcome clients, visitors, and community partners while providing exceptional customer service in a professional and compassionate environment.
Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, manage calendars, and assist clients with accessing behavioral health services.
Complete patient registration, verify demographic information, and support the intake and admissions process.
Maintain accurate electronic health records, patient accounts, and administrative documentation in a timely manner.
Manage waitlists, coordinate appointment scheduling, and communicate with clients regarding upcoming services.
Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure efficient office operations and a positive client experience.
Maintain office supplies, reception areas, and administrative records to support daily program operations.
Assist with reports, data tracking, special projects, and other administrative functions as assigned.
Protect client confidentiality while ensuring compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and organizational policies.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of one year of experience in an administrative, medical office, healthcare, or customer service environment.
Valid Ohio driver's license with reliable transportation.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic record systems.
Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a behavioral health, medical, or human services setting.
Experience with patient scheduling, registration, insurance verification, or electronic health records.
Bilingual skills are a plus.
Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, customer-focused service while working in a fast-paced environment.
