Full Job Description

Outpatient Clinician

AAMH, a Division of Oaks Integrated Care, a Community Mental Health agency located in Princeton, NJ, is currently is looking for a Master’s level Clinician to perform a variety of direct service duties including Intake Evaluation as well as individual and family counseling to a diverse Medicaid population, ages 5 and above.

Join a team of dedicated professionals working together to provide vitally needed supportive behavioral health care to severely mentally ill individuals. Services provided in person and by telehealth.

AAMH, a Division of Oaks Integrated Care, provides clinical supervision towards licensure.

Successful candidates are able to work independently.

Make a difference while working in a warm friendly and supportive environment.

Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Position Required Qualifications:

Master in Social Work must have an active Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the state of New Jersey; or.
Master in Counseling or related field; Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) or Licensed Associated Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT) in the state of New Jersey preferred. If preliminary license is not yet active at the time of hire, candidate will obtain within 6 months of hire; or
New Jersey LPC, LCSW or LMFT preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Facilitates biopsychosocial assessments to determine current problems, mental status, family and personal history, treatment/level of care recommendations and provisional diagnosis.
Effectively engages a range of clients in therapeutic relationships toward the attainment of mutually agreed upon goals.
Develop and manage a client caseload.
Maintains agency documentation standards, including managing documentation alerts.
Develop and implement an Individual Recovery Plan (IRP) with each client at specified intervals, which prioritizes problems, goals, objectives and interventions in a time frame.
Presents intakes, updates, closings, transfers and IRP’s at treatment team meetings for review.
Consults with other staff and psychiatrists on a regular basis to coordinate care for shared clients.
Assist clients as necessary to secure and maintain support system (such as social security, housing, medical services, etc.).
Develop and maintain community resource information for advocacy and referral.
Attend weekly supervision, unit staff meetings, agency staff meetings and monthly educational in-services.
Conduct projects and additional assignments, as appropriate, as requested by supervisor.

Work Location: In person with flexibility for telehealth/work from home

The full time position offers a competitive annual salary of $50,000-$60,000 dependent on licensure status, with a very generous benefit and time off package.
