Full Job Description

If you do not have solid QuickBooks experience please do NOT apply

Duties include:

Daily transferring of data from POS system to Quick Books, and reconciling bank involving deposited checks, cash, and credit card payments.
Entering and paying invoices and recording various adjusting journal entries in Quick Books.
Calculating timesheets and submitting bi-weekly payroll to payroll service.
Forecasting monthly expenses.
Filing Sales Tax return.
Reconciling general ledger accounts at month end.
Ad-hoc duties for owner of Company.

The Company is a seasonal marina, with extra time off usually during December to February, and part time the rest of the year. Payroll is performed all year round.

Must have knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, and 5 years of Quick Books experience.

Report to outside CPA firm at year end for year-end close.

Looking for an individual who is a team player and can assume a leadership role in the office, detail oriented and accurate with numbers.

Manage the convenience store staffing and schedule.

Hourly pay commensurate with experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
