Full Job Description

Location: Applicants MUST be willing to work on-site in Highland Hills, OH and have a reliable means of transportation

Contract: 7 months

Pay Rate: $19.00-$20.00 per hour

Days/Hours: Tuesday-Friday; 8:00am-6:30pm

We are hiring for a skilled Payroll Specialist! In this full-time opportunity you will be responsible for completing accurate and timely processing of client payroll and billing related functions. To be considered for this position, please have a minimum of a High School Diploma and 2 years of related experience or an Associate's Degree. Please also have strong organization, time management skills, and a high attention to detail. Does this describe you? Apply today!

Position Details:

Review client payroll data for accuracy. This requires checking critical details such as accuracy of taxes and balancing figures.
Review client invoicing for accuracy. This requires checking details such as supporting payroll information.
Finalize payroll and invoicing before printing.
Prepare packets for shipment to customers.
Assist with other functions within department such as customer service.
Balance payroll and invoicing to accounting statement for accuracy.

Job Requirements

Associate's Degree OR a High School Diploma with 2 years of related experience
Understanding of basic accounting and payroll principles
Strong with numbers and databases
Must be detail oriented and customer focused
Excellent organization and time management skills
Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
US citizen or permanent resident status
Completion of background check
