Full Job Description

Our client, a growing bath furniture and fixtures company in the Greater San Fernando Valley area, is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to help shape the future of its warehouse operations. This newly created role comes at an exciting time as the company invests in its operations and expands its distribution capabilities. You'll join a leadership team that's looking for someone who can bring fresh ideas, strengthen warehouse operations, and help build the foundation for what's next.

Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, you'll lead the development of the company's warehouse safety program, support the implementation of a new Warehouse Management System (WMS), and help improve the systems and processes that keep the warehouse running efficiently. As the business grows, you'll also contribute to larger operational initiatives, including the planning of a future East Coast distribution center. This is an opportunity to bring your ideas, experience, and leadership to a growing operation that's ready to invest in them.

What You’ll Do:

Build and lead the company's warehouse safety program, creating the training, certifications, and safety practices that support a more proactive warehouse culture.
Partner with leadership on the implementation and continuous improvement of the company's new WMS, helping drive adoption and improve day-to-day warehouse operations.
Identify opportunities to streamline warehouse operations through LEAN principles, process improvements, and operational best practices
Use KPIs and operational data to identify trends, measure performance, and recommend improvements that increase efficiency and productivity.
Develop and standardize warehouse processes that improve consistency and support operations across multiple warehouse locations.
Contribute to the planning of the company’s future East Coast distribution center, helping shape warehouse layout, operational workflows, and launch readiness.

What You Bring:

3+ years of warehouse or distribution operations experience, including experience leading teams or serving in a warehouse lead capacity.
Experience supporting operations involving oversized products and customized palletizing is highly valued.
Experience improving warehouse operations through safety initiatives, process optimization, and continuous improvement efforts.
Able to convey OSHA regulations, warehouse safety programs, and compliance best practices.
Experience working with WMS, inventory control, and warehouse reporting.
Proficient in LEAN, 5S, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong aptitude with KPI tracking, data analysis, and reporting tools (MS Excel).
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent experience.
Bilingual: English and Spanish required.
Willingness to work fully on-site in the Greater San Fernando Valley area on an early morning (6:30 AM) schedule.

Our client offers a base salary of $72K-$85K, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision coverage, paid time off, and paid holidays.

Pay: $72,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
