Full Job Description

Job description

Job Purpose: Responsible for auditing and processing freight bills for accuracy and completeness.

Reports To: Interline Coordinator

Essential Job Functions:

Audit freight bills for accuracy and completeness
Update freight bills and apply charges
Communicate with customers and partner carriers to resolve discrepancies and answer inquires.
Process interline payables
Review and send invoices
Precision in verifying invoices and payments
Capable to identify and resolve issues related to invoices and payments
All other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit for long periods of time
Must be able to use a keyboard and computer

Qualifications:

Must be detailed oriented
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills
Microsoft Excel experience a must, AS400 experience a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

JP Express Service Inc. is a non-union LTL motor freight carrier with 5 locations in the Tri-State area. JP Express Service is privately owned with approximately 265 employees and has been doing business since 1992.
