Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong office management skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in various computer applications. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth functioning of daily office activities.

Duties

Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and handling multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading to ensure accuracy and organization
Coordinate calendar management and appointment scheduling for staff and clients
Handle customer support inquiries via phone and email with excellent phone etiquette
Maintain office supplies inventory and order necessary materials
Support office management functions such as organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and managing correspondence
Provide administrative support to various departments as needed, including personal assistant duties if required
Order, Warranty, and Quote processing, as well as assist with closing shop repair orders.

Experience

Previous office experience or clerical background is required. Two years preferred.
Experience with office management tools such as Microsoft Office.
Proven customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and efficiency
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Familiarity with medical or dental receptionist duties is advantageous but not required
Excellent typing speed and data entry accuracy are essential
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail

This position offers an engaging work environment where organizational excellence and customer service are valued. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our office operates efficiently while providing outstanding support to clients and team members alike.

Hours of Operation are Monday through Friday. 8 hours per Day. 40 hours per week.

About H.A. DeHart & Son: We are the exclusive dealer of Thomas Built Buses in the State of New Jersey. We are also a full-service company offering various types of truck and municipal equipment including dump bodies, plows, spreaders, utility bodies, truck mounted cranes, trailers, refuse equipment and video pipe inspection equipment.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
