Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry Level Accounting Assistant/ Bookkeeper to join our manufacturing accounting team. This role is ideal for individuals have at least 1 year in accounting but not mandatory. The candidate must have some experience with Sage 50 (Peachtree), QuickBooks, or a similar accounting program. We can train if candidate is willing to learn. The successful candidate will assist with various accounting tasks. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing accounting while working with a supportive team.

Duties

Perform data entry tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Data entry using excel and database
Qualifications
Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.
Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Workday, Sage, etc.) is a plus but not necessary.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficient in data entry and comfortable using 10-key typing for accurate record keeping.
Excellent mathematical skills
Use of MS Word, Excel, Access Database, Outlook
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively.
Able to work alone and use Zoom for meetings

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
