Mortgage Loan Processor

Absolute Home Mortgage Corporation is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to join our high-producing retail mortgage team in Marlton, NJ.

We're looking for a processor who takes ownership of their pipeline, stays ahead of deadlines, communicates proactively, and knows how to move loans efficiently from application through closing. Our business is purchase-focused and fast-paced, so strong organization, urgency, and communication are essential.

Responsibilities

Manage a pipeline of residential mortgage loans from application through closing
Review borrower income, assets, credit, employment, title, appraisal, insurance, and other required documentation
Identify missing or problematic documentation early and work proactively to resolve issues
Prepare complete files for underwriting and efficiently clear underwriting conditions
Maintain accurate and current loan information in Encompass
Communicate proactively with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, closing/title partners, and other parties throughout the transaction
Monitor loan milestones and closing dates to keep transactions on schedule
Handle multiple files and priorities while maintaining accuracy and strong customer service
Follow company procedures and applicable mortgage lending requirements

Qualifications

Prior residential mortgage loan processing experience required
Experience processing purchase transactions strongly preferred
Experience with Conventional, FHA, and VA loans preferred
Encompass experience strongly preferred
Strong understanding of mortgage documentation, underwriting conditions, income/assets, title, appraisal, and closing requirements
Proven ability to manage a meaningful loan pipeline and meet closing deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organized, detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable working in a high-volume environment
Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with loan officers and operations staff

Compensation

Base salary: $55,000–$75,000 per year, based on experience
Additional uncapped compensation per funded loan, based on the overall compensation package
Full-time, in-person position

We are looking for someone who wants to become a long-term part of a productive mortgage team and takes pride in getting loans to the closing table accurately, efficiently, and on time.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
