Medical Assistant position in growing dermatology office. Previous experience in a medical office preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate to be part of our team.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Greeting patients and caregivers
Rooming patients and collecting initial screening information for provider
Processing biopsies and relaying patient results in an appropriate and detailed oriented manner
Interacting with patients in a compassionate upbeat manner
Willing and able to learn medical terminology and knowledge of dermatology to be able to speak with patients in a educated manner

Medical Assistant Requirements and Preferences

AA or BS degree; preferred
High school diploma or equivalent; required
Two (2) years' previous customer service experience in a related supportive position preferred
Medical office experience preferred
Medical assistant experience preferred
Dermatology experience preferred
EMA Experience Preferred or other EMR
Able to prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Self-motivated and self-directed with the ability to work autonomously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
