Family owned and operated since 1952, Custom Glass is a full-service glazing subcontractor serving Northern Nevada and the Sierras. We provide commercial and residential glass, glazing, doors, windows, automatic entrances, and specialty glass solutions.

We are proud of our reputation for quality workmanship, dependable service, and long-term customer relationships.

We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Estimator / Project Manager to join our team in Reno.

What You’ll Do

Estimate commercial glazing projects
Perform plan take-offs and quantity calculations
Review plans, specifications, and project requirements
Prepare accurate and competitive proposals
Communicate with customers, contractors, architects, and vendors
Coordinate projects from award through completion
Review and manage project schedules and deadlines
Coordinate materials, labor, and project requirements
Review shop drawings and submittals
Identify project issues and develop practical solutions
Maintain organized and accurate project documentation
Provide professional, responsive customer service

What We’re Looking For

Commercial glazing estimating experience
Project management experience in the glazing industry
Experience with Glazier Studio preferred
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
Experience with plan take-offs and estimating
Strong understanding of commercial construction
AutoCAD and shop drawing experience is a plus
Strong communication and customer service skills
Excellent organization and time-management skills
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail
Professional and dependable work ethic
Ability to work independently while being part of a team
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
