Full Job Description

Brick Haus Brews is located in Sparta, MI. We focus on providing a gathering place for the community that feels like home. Whether our guests are celebrating something special, having a business meeting or just enjoying a night out we strive to exceed their expectations through our customer service and high quality products.

Brick Haus is hiring for a line/prep cook position to work mid afternoon & evenings. We are seeking highly motivated, positive and energetic individuals to join our team. This position is a key role to our operation, focusing on preparing the highest quality items served in a clean environment. Line/prep cook is a part time position with the opportunity to continue to learn key skills within a kitchen operation. The following outlines some responsibilities but is not an all-inclusive list:

Responsibilities

· Completing all tasks, in order, on the prep list created by leadership.

· Washing, chopping and sorting ingredients like fruits, vegetables and meats.

Prepare hot and cold food items according to designated recipes and quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times.
Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner.
Ensure knowledge of menu and food products.
Stock and maintain designated food stations(s).
Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen.
Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations.

Requirements

One year line/prep cooking experience.
Good communication skills
Able to work under pressure
Mobility
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
