Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure excellent customer service, and lead a team towards achieving sales and operational goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, along with a comprehensive understanding of retail management practices. This role offers an opportunity to manage a vibrant store environment, implement effective strategies, and foster a positive experience for customers. This role provides a flexible schedule including Sundays off.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating employee performance.
Oversee inventory management, including stock control, purchasing, and merchandising to optimize product availability and presentation.
Manage daily store operations such as cash handling, POS transactions, cashiering, and maintaining accurate bookkeeping records.
Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets while ensuring excellent customer service standards.
Conduct employee orientation sessions, ongoing training & development programs, and manage shift schedules to ensure smooth store functioning.
Monitor store budget adherence, perform retail math calculations for pricing and sales analysis, and oversee inventory control procedures.
Coordinate marketing initiatives to promote store products and services effectively.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and maintain a clean, organized store environment.
Handle customer inquiries professionally via phone etiquette and in-person interactions to enhance customer satisfaction.
Utilize management skills to supervise daily operations efficiently while fostering a team-oriented atmosphere.

Experience

Proven management experience in restaurant or cafe with supervisory responsibilities.
Strong background in sales, inventory management, merchandising, and POS systems.
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in team management, training & development, and employee supervision.
Proficiency in math including sales management techniques.
Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are a plus but not required.
Experience with budgeting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, marketing initiatives, and administrative tasks is preferred.
Prior assistant manager or supervisory roles are highly desirable. This position requires a motivated individual capable of managing multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational excellence.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
