Full Job Description

Paper King, Inc. is a growing, family-owned company specializing in pallets, Gaylord boxes, fiber drums, and industrial packaging. We are looking for an experienced, organized, and dependable Bookkeeper to become an important part of our team.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of the accounting process, is highly detail-oriented, and has strong experience using QuickBooks Online.

Responsibilities

Manage all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Record daily financial transactions in QuickBooks Online
Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
Process customer payments and vendor invoices
Prepare customer invoices and monitor collections
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
Generate financial reports for management
Maintain organized accounting records and files
Process ACH payments and bank deposits
Work closely with management on cash flow and financial reporting
Assist with payroll preparation and other accounting duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of bookkeeping experience
Required: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
Strong understanding of general accounting principles
Experience reconciling multiple bank and credit card accounts
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Ability to work independently while collaborating with the team
Professional communication skills and high level of confidentiality
