Full Job Description

Position Overview

Inland Infrastructure is seeking a skilled and motivated Foreman to lead field crews on public infrastructure projects throughout Eastern Washington and North Idaho. The Foreman plays a critical role in coordinating daily operations, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently, and maintaining high standards of quality. This position serves as a key link between the Superintendent and field crews, helping drive project success on the ground.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and lead crews in the construction of public infrastructure projects, including roads, utilities, and site development
Coordinate daily work activities and ensure crews understand project goals and expectations
Read and interpret plans, specifications, and grade stakes
Operate heavy equipment as needed to support crew productivity
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
Conduct daily safety meetings (toolbox talks) and enforce safe work practices
Monitor workmanship to ensure quality and adherence to project specifications
Coordinate materials, equipment, and manpower to maintain efficient workflow
Communicate regularly with the Superintendent regarding progress, challenges, and resource needs
Maintain daily logs, timekeeping, and basic project documentation

Qualifications

3–7 years of experience in civil construction or public infrastructure projects
Previous experience in a leadership role (Foreman or Lead) preferred
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and grade stakes
Proven leadership and team management skills
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Commitment to job site safety and OSHA standards
Valid driver’s license required (CDL a plus)
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and physical conditions
