Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Hotel Sales Manager to lead our sales initiatives and drive revenue growth. In this pivotal role, you will develop and execute strategic sales plans, cultivate strong relationships with clients, and oversee a high-performing sales team. Your expertise in B2B sales, management, and business development will be instrumental in positioning our hotel as a premier choice for corporate and leisure travelers alike. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence our market presence while collaborating across departments to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Duties

Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with hotel goals to maximize occupancy and revenue streams
Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets through effective coaching and performance management
Cultivate and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other key partners to generate new business opportunities
Conduct outside sales efforts by visiting prospective clients, attending industry events, and representing the hotel at trade shows
Utilize CRM systems such as Salesforce to track leads, manage client accounts, analyze sales data, and generate detailed reports on performance metrics
Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients while ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that support long-term partnerships
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and management teams to develop tailored proposals and promotional campaigns that attract diverse customer segments

Skills

Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, and enterprise selling within a corporate or hospitality environment
Strong management skills with a track record of leading sales teams and managing sales strategy or development teams effectively
Proficiency in Salesforce Cloud, CRM systems, and sales management tools for analytics & reporting purposes
Excellent customer relationship building skills coupled with negotiation expertise to close high-value deals
Business development management experience with a focus on expanding market reach through strategic initiatives
Technical sales experience related to SaaS products or technology solutions is highly desirable
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data, conduct market analysis, and adapt strategies accordingly
Exceptional communication skills for client engagement, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration
Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales goals within a competitive corporate or enterprise setting
Leadership qualities that foster team development, motivation, and a customer-centric approach
