Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Retirement Community Mobile Home Park Manager, where you will lead the day-to-day operations of a vibrant mobile home community dedicated to providing a welcoming, safe, and well-maintained environment for residents. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine property management expertise with exceptional customer service, ensuring residents enjoy a high quality of life while maintaining the community’s standards and compliance. As a key leader, you will oversee leasing, maintenance, resident relations, and administrative functions to foster a thriving and harmonious community.

Role and Responsibilities Resident Relations:· Maintain open communication with residents through monthly meetings and ongoing engagement.· Meet with prospective tenants, run background checks, and explain community policies and residency requirements.· Investigate and resolve resident complaints and violations promptly and professionally.Property Management:· Enforce lease agreements and community rules.· Prepare and serve Non-Compliance Notices and legal notices.· Track lease expirations and prepare/post renewal or rent increase letters.· Coordinate inspections, maintenance, and repairs—including emergency situations like drain backups or pool/spa equipment issues.· Hold auctions and manage procedures related to abandoned homes.· Financial Management:· Collect rent and other fees; post transactions to the rent ledger.· Track and collect delinquent payments.· Review invoices for payment.· Monitor budgeted spending and request approval for purchases or services exceeding set limits. Administrative Duties:· Maintain accurate records and resident files.· Arrange and manage service contracts, annual inspections, and third-party vendor disputes. Qualifications and Education Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; additional education or certifications in property management or related fields preferred.

Minimum of 2 years experience in property or community management.

Familiarity with legal procedures and community regulations.

Proficient with office software and property management systems.

Preferred Skills

Strong knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and Washington RCWs for Manufactured Housing Communities.

Ability to make quick, sound decisions in emergency situations (e.g., utility issues, urgent repairs).

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.

Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities.

Additional Notes

Independent Authority:
Authorized to make decisions regarding emergency repairs, community compliance, and daily operational tasks.

Requires Approval:
Purchases or contracted services that exceed the community's budget ($1,000/transaction) must be approved by ownership or senior management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
