Full Job Description

Tax Professional: CPA and financial services firm where accounting, tax and financial planning work together for clients. The firm has positions available for the upcoming tax season;

Tax Professional. This position performs moderately complex tax functions placing the needs of the client first and providing exceptional service.

Duties include, not limited to preparing entry level to moderately complex individual and small business income tax returns. Utilizing research materials to find solutions to client tax issues. Preparing tax work papers. Work on structured assignments. Other duties as assigned.

Experience/Required Skills: CPA or EA a must. College degree in accounting or related field. Minimum of two years related experience. Proficiency in Microsoft office. Tax software experience.

Bookkeeper. The firm has a position available for a Bookkeeper with extensive knowledge of QuickBooks online. This position performs moderately complex bookkeeping functions as assistant to the Tax Department in completing the necessary tasks to ensure all tax and accounting functions are completed efficiently and accurately, putting the needs of the client first and providing exceptional service every time.

Duties include, not limited to; performing accounting activities related to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger. Proven ability in preparation of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss reports to be utilized by tax department in the preparation of tax returns. Prepare quarterly payroll returns and monthly sales tax returns as needed. Ability to track and meet deadlines. Complete special projects as requested in a timely manner.

Experience/Required Skills: Certified ProAdvisor preferred. Must have a minimum of three years actively working with Quickbooks Online and Quickbooks Desktop. Proficiency in Microsoft office.

Investment Assistant. The firm has a position available for an Investment Assistant. This position performs moderately complex administrative and client services tasks for the business owner and other advisors.

Duties include, not limited to supporting Financial Services staff through preparation of account applications to establish life insurance policies, annuity contracts and brokerage accounts. Ability to follow detailed instructions through several forms of communication (email, messaging, database of scheduled tasks). Complete special projects as requested in a timely manner.

Experience/Required Skills: College degree in accounting or related field. Minimum of three years related experience in administrative, customer service, financial services experience a plus, proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Compensation Commensurate to Education, Experience and position filled.
