Overnight Receptionist / Resident Support Associate (Part-Time)

PART-TIME OPPORTUNITY

We are currently hiring for a Part-Time Overnight Receptionist / Resident Support Associate.

Two overnight consecutive shifts per week
8-hour shifts (Midnight to 8:00 a.m.)
Flexible scheduling! We are happy to work with you to determine the two nights that best fit your availability.

This position is perfect for someone looking to supplement their income while working in a quiet, welcoming environment where they can truly make a difference in the lives of seniors.

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of the management team, the Overnight Receptionist serves as the primary point of contact during overnight hours for residents, families, staff, and guests. This position is responsible for answering incoming telephone calls, monitoring the resident emergency response system, providing exceptional customer service, assisting with light housekeeping in offices and common areas, and helping maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming community.

No medical experience is required. We provide all necessary training.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, guests, and team members with professionalism, kindness, and compassion.
Answer incoming telephone calls, assist callers, and route messages appropriately.
Monitor and respond to the resident emergency response system.
Respond calmly and professionally to resident emergencies by following established community procedures.
Contact 911 when appropriate, remain with the resident until emergency personnel arrive, and notify designated family members or management as directed.
Conduct routine walkthroughs of the community to ensure buildings remain safe and secure.
Perform light housekeeping duties in offices and common areas to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
Keep the reception area neat, organized, and professional.
Document incidents electronically in the community's designated reporting system and communicate important information to management in a timely manner.
Follow all community safety policies and procedures.
Work independently while also supporting fellow team members as needed.
Maintain a professional appearance and represent Concordia in a positive manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

Customer service, receptionist, hospitality, healthcare, or senior living experience is preferred but not required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Dependable, trustworthy, and able to work independently.
Comfortable responding calmly during emergency situations.
Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and walk or stand for the majority of the shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.

SCHEDULE

Part-Time
Two overnight consecutive shifts per week
Midnight to 8:00 a.m.
