Graphic Designer

River Street Sweets is looking for a new Team member! Join our SWEET Team!!

The ideal candidate will bring talent, passion, and experience to the team but more importantly will embody our core values: safety, family spirit, stewardship, fun, excellence, and guest driven.

Reports to: VP of Marketing

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate also has a strong eye for design, typography, and storytelling; thrives in a collaborative environment; and can balance creativity with organization and deadlines. This position works closely with Marketing, E-Commerce, and Photography teams to ensure all brand communications are visually compelling and consistently on-brand.

Responsibilities Include:

Collaborate with team leads to design omnichannel creative assets including wholesale print catalogs, retail signage brochures, email campaigns, web graphics, and digital marketing materials
Assist with photography and content creation to support seasonal campaigns and brand storytelling
Prepare files for print production and digital deployment
Capture photography content for brochures, company events, product launches, print ads, and digital ads
Edit, retouch, and optimize photos for print and digital applications
Create product renderings, mockups, and visual concepts for presentations, packaging, promotions, and product launces
Create a wide range of graphics and layouts for product packaging and brand logos
Contribute fresh ideas and creative solutions that support brand and business objectives
Participate in brainstorming sessions, creative reviews, and design research with cross-functional teams
Stay current on design trends, fashion, retail, and digital marketing best practices
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Deliver high-quality, visually compelling work that reflects the RSS brand aesthetic

Qualifications:

Exceptional portfolio showcasing thoughtful, elevated design work across editorial, marketing, and/or brand spaces
Strong understanding of typography, color theory, composition, and grid systems
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, Photoshop, and Shopify Plus
After Effects or motion graphics experience is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication
Understanding of digital design best practices across email, web, and social platforms
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize projects effectively

· Experience as a graphic designer or in related field.

Working Hours:

·Full-time position

·Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Employees are expected to work 45 hours a week.

·Flexibility is required as schedule may adjust based on business needs, including occasional evenings, weekends, and special events

·Increased availability is required during peak seasons, including but not limited to, working up to six days per week during the holiday (Christmas) season

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
