Your Role at REEL USA
REEL USA has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics and Receiving Clerk with knowledge, skills, and experience with warehouse, receiving, inventory control, and quality concepts. The Logistics and Receiving Clerk will receive incoming materials and check the quality of the materials. All work tasks are performed in a safe manner while following plant policies and procedures. The Logistics and Receiving Clerk will work on-site at the Springfield, IL location.

How Will You Make an Impact
In this role, your primary duty will be to receive materials, check quality of materials, and enter data into the ERP system . This role requires a safety mind-set, self-motivated person with a positive attitude, a ton of good energy, and effective time management. A successful candidate will be someone who can:

Work in a safe manner. Actively participates in REEL USA's safety, health, and environmental programs. Attends scheduled team meetings and completes safety training requirements. Keeps work area safe and clean.
- Receive materials (unloading, quantity checks, verification of delivery documents and certificates).

Record receipts in the ERP system (Pro Concept) in line with internal procedures.

Perform visual and basic quality control on received materials (general condition, apparent conformity to specifications, damage check, traceability and labeling check, reporting of nonconformities).

Collaborate with the Quality department in case of quality issues and document nonconformities.

Manage inventory in and out movements (stock updates, location management, basic cycle counts).

Ensure proper identification, labeling, and storage of materials to maintain accurate and compliant stock levels.

Prepare purchase requisitions for materials required for production (based on stock levels, minimum stock, and manufacturing needs) in coordination with the Production and Purchasing departments.

Organize and coordinate transportation of materials and parts to and from subcontractors (shipment preparation, documentation, carrier coordination, tracking, and receipt follow-up

Perform other duties as assigned.
What Will You Bring to REEL USA
-
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or certificate in logistics or equivalent.

Experience in warehouse, receiving or inventory role (1–2 years preferred).

Experience with an ERP system is an advantage.

Willing and able to work collaboratively in a team-based environment. Strong written and verbal communication and active listening skills. Able to work independently as well. Self-motivated with a track record of dependability including work history.

A proven positive safety, health, and environmental record. Familiar with topics such as personal protective equipment, confined space entry, lockout / tagout, hot work, safe work permitting, emergency response, and hazard awareness.

Accurate and consistent in performing tasks.

Good hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and good touch perception.

Basic math skills.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Effective time management and organizational skills

Experience with accident and near miss reporting, incident investigation, and accountability to standards.

Ability to learn/Ability to safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and aerial work platforms.

Flexible in performing changing assignments and work schedules. May be required to work overtime.

Physical requirements include but not limited to climbing stairs and ladders, standing, sitting, kneeling, squatting for extended periods, working at heights such as ladders, and/or grating, use of hand tools, and occasional heavy lifting (50lbs).

Be able to distinguish visual colors and shapes through location and maintain through the course of employment.

Pay – The hourly wage range for this role is $25 to $30 an hour. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.

This is a full-time position, and the working hours are Monday through Thursday, 6:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Based on business needs, the schedule may change.
