Full Job Description

Humke & Hage, P.C. is looking for a growth-minded accountant to add to our established Springfield, IL office. Our office is a full-service accounting firm serving clients throughout the Springfield area.

We value the importance of treating each client with professional and personalized services while offering a wide range of financial and tax planning information catering to each client’s individual and personal needs. Our dedication to hard work has earned the respect of the business and financial community in and around the area. We believe this to be a direct result of our talent and responsiveness to our client base.

Responsibilities & Duties

Prepare client financial statements using QuickBooks
Prepare individual and business tax returns for clients
Prepare tax projections for clients
Respond to tax related correspondence for clients

Requirements

Financial statement preparation experience
Experience with Microsoft and QuickBooks
Must be able to handle multiple project deadlines at once and abide by strict deadlines

Office

Full-time employment. Have a comp program that a person can earn comp days for additional hours worked during tax season.

General Office Working Hours:

Monday- 8:00am-5:00pm

Tuesday- 8:00am-5:00pm

Wednesday- 8:00am-5:00pm

Thursday- 8:00am-5:00pm

Friday- 8:00am-12:00pm
