Branch Manager – Full-Time, Salaried

LUSO Federal Credit Union | Massachusetts

LUSO Federal Credit Union is seeking an energetic, member-focused, and results-driven Branch Manager to lead branch operations, grow relationships within our communities, and help drive the continued success of our organization.

As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily member service operations, developing and coaching staff, originating consumer and real estate loans, building business relationships, and serving as a visible ambassador for LUSO Federal Credit Union throughout the community.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all branch operations to ensure exceptional member service and operational excellence.
Supervise, coach, and develop branch staff to achieve individual and team performance goals.
Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing branch culture.
Originate and process consumer loans, home equity loans, mortgages, and other lending products.
Identify opportunities to deepen member relationships through cross-selling and financial solutions.
Develop strategies to increase branch growth, membership, loans, and deposits.
Represent LUSO Federal Credit Union at community events, networking functions, business meetings, and sponsorship activities.
Build relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community leaders to promote the credit union.
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
Monitor branch performance metrics and implement action plans to achieve goals.
Resolve member concerns professionally and effectively while maintaining a superior member experience.

Qualifications

Previous management or supervisory experience in banking, credit union, or financial services preferred.
Strong knowledge of consumer lending and member service operations.
Mortgage and home equity lending experience preferred.
Proven ability to generate business and grow relationships within the community.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Strong sales, business development, and networking abilities.
Proficiency with financial institution systems and Microsoft Office applications.
