Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Line Cook/Prep Cook/Dishwasher to become a key part of our bustling kitchen team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in food preparation, cooking, and dishwashing within a vibrant food service environment. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about food, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to delivering delicious meals with efficiency and care. Whether you're just starting out or bringing some culinary or restaurant experience, this position is perfect for anyone passionate about the food industry and dedicated to maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing ingredients and cooking menu items following established recipes and standards.
Support meal preparation by chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing workstations, and organizing supplies.
Help with food handling practices to ensure safety and quality during all stages of meal prep.
Follow proper knife skills for slicing, dicing, and portioning ingredients accurately.
Support catering events or special functions by preparing and serving food as needed.
Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or culinary environments is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of food handling safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures.
Basic knife skills and familiarity with meal preparation techniques.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience with dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus.
Willingness to learn new skills such as menu planning, food presentation, or catering support.
