Full Job Description

What you will do: You will be reporting directly to our Controller. You will be responsible for a variety of accounting duties that include processing of accounts payable, assisting with month-end closing, and generate and reconcile month-end journal entries.

Qualifications: An applicant with great organizational skills that is interested in the accounting. Prior experience would be helpful but not required. If you have some experience in accounting or studying for an accounting degree this position could be for you!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Researches and resolves invoice/payment inquiries or discrepancies, in a timely manner.
Maintains current aging of invoices by reconciling a large number of vendor accounts and related transactions, and working with vendors/associates to resolve past due invoices and collect credits due to Company.
Understands and interprets data, and provide clear and consistent guidance to other team members and management, as needed.
Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
Maintains accurate and reliable documentation.
Prepares analysis of account, as requested.
