About the role

Holistic Wellness & Psychiatry provides integrative mental health care from our St. Thomas office (VI Medical Foundation, Estate Thomas) — psychiatry, therapy, Spravato and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP), and functional-medicine approaches, all under one roof. Our therapy referrals come primarily from our own psychiatry side, which means your caseload builds from warm internal referrals rather than your own marketing.

We are hiring an in-person therapist for St. Thomas. This is not a remote or hybrid position — please do not apply if you are seeking telehealth-primary work. Island practice is in-person practice: our patients want a therapist they can sit with.

What you'll do

Individual therapy for adults (couples/family a plus) using evidence-based modalities
Optional training path into ketamine-assisted psychotherapy — a structured, compensated specialty track with premium session rates once trained
Collaborate directly with our prescribers — true integrated care, not parallel play
Serve a community with profound need and very few independently licensed therapists

Compensation & structure

Productivity-based: percentage of collections or per-session rate, shown to you with real numbers at interview
Estimated $70,000–$105,000 annually at a full caseload (22–25 sessions/week); part-time pro-rates
KAP sessions compensated at a premium tier once trained
Credentialing with USVI payers handled by our team
Sustainable scheduling by design: capped weekly sessions, protected documentation time

What we need from you

Independent clinical licensure — able to diagnose and bill insurance without supervision (LCSW, LMFT, LPC/LMHC-equivalent). USVI licensure active or application submitted.
Minimum 3 years post-licensure clinical experience
Genuine commitment to living and working on St. Thomas — minimum 12-month commitment
Interest in integrative and whole-person approaches (KAP curiosity welcome, not required)

Pay: $70,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
