Full Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated, organized, and experienced Restoration Project Manager to lead contents restoration operations and support the consistent delivery of high-quality restoration services. This role is responsible for managing teams involved in documenting, packing, cleaning, deodorizing, storing, and restoring personal and business belongings affected by property damage events.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with hands-on restoration knowledge, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining safety, quality, and client satisfaction. This position also plays a key role in training team members, developing policies and procedures, and supporting operational excellence in collaboration with management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership & Staff Development

Lead, manage, and mentor contents restoration crews, creating a professional, collaborative, and productive work environment.
Train team members on restoration techniques, cleaning procedures, documentation standards, safety practices, and company processes.
Support employee development by providing guidance, feedback, and hands-on instruction in the field and warehouse.
Work closely with the Director Manager to develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for contents restoration services.

2. Operations Management

Oversee daily contents operations, including pack-outs, pack-ins, cleaning, deodorizing, storage, inventory, and job site coordination.
Ensure all projects are completed efficiently, professionally, and in accordance with company standards and industry best practices.
Manage workflow, assign crews, monitor job progress, and ensure proper use of company resources, supplies, and equipment.
Maintain organization of contents, storage areas, equipment, and supplies to support smooth operations.

3. Project Coordination & Documentation

Coordinate with Project Managers to define scopes of work, track project progress, and ensure jobs are completed on time and within budget.
Create and maintain accurate digital photo inventories for insurance documentation and claims purposes.
Ensure all documentation, photos, reports, and project details are complete, accurate, and submitted in a timely manner.
Support the claims process by providing clear and organized records for clients, insurance adjusters, and internal teams.

4. Cleaning, Restoration & Quality Control

Supervise cleaning, deodorizing, and restoration processes for personal and business belongings affected by fire, water, mold, or other losses.
Ensure work is performed according to safety standards, quality expectations, and restoration industry procedures.
Implement quality assurance measures, conduct inspections, and re-inspect job sites to confirm work has been completed properly.
Identify issues, recommend solutions, and ensure corrective actions are completed when needed.

5. Client & Adjuster Relations

Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, homeowners, business owners, and insurance adjusters throughout the contents restoration process.
Provide professional communication, project updates, and support to ensure a positive customer experience.
Address client concerns promptly and professionally while working with internal teams to resolve issues.
Maintain strong relationships with insurance representatives, vendors, and project stakeholders.

6. Safety, Compliance & Equipment Management

Ensure daily safety meetings are conducted and that all team members follow company safety policies and applicable regulations.
Promote a safe working environment on job sites, in storage areas, and during transportation of contents.
Monitor supply levels, tools, cleaning products, and equipment to ensure crews have what they need to complete projects successfully.
Ensure company equipment is properly used, maintained, and accounted for.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven leadership and team management experience.
Experience in restoration, contents cleaning, pack-outs, inventory, or related field preferred.
High attention to detail for documentation, inventory, and quality assurance.
Ability to solve problems effectively and remain professional under pressure.
Technical knowledge of restoration processes, cleaning procedures, deodorization methods, and inventory systems preferred.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
