Full Job Description

Job Duties

Prospect and develop new business relationships with local and regional clients
Conduct needs analysis to understand client goals and challenges
Create and present customized advertising and marketing solutions
Sell across multiple platforms, which may include broadcast, digital, streaming, podcast, and
events
Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through consistent communication
and service
Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals
Collaborate with internal teams (programming, promotions, digital, creative) to execute successful campaigns
Maintain accurate documentation, forecasts, and activity in sales systems
Participate in sales meetings, training, and coaching sessions
Attend client meetings, station events, and community functions as needed

Helpful (but not required):

Industry knowledge in at least one of our core categories: Home Services, Education, Healthcare, Financial Services, Franchises & Distributed, Non-Profit, Recruitment, Entertainment & Leisure, Mid-Market Retail & Restaurants, and B2B
AI familiarity for prospecting and research

Work Requirements

Reliable transportation, clean driving history and a valid driver’s license (driving record will be checked)
Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends for client or station events

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods
Manual dexterity to operate general office equipment (computer, phone, copier, etc.)
Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing
Ability to think quickly and make sound decisions in fast-paced situations
Ability to articulate information clearly and professionally to others
Ability to develop presentation materials (e.g., slides, proposals) and present recommendations to decision makers in meetings (in person and virtual)
